My home/office wifi is very slow, what to do?

One of our clients reached out to us, complaining about poor wifi connection, they have about 30-50 users and all of them are using the wifi to connect to the internet “they don’t really like cables..”.. and after a site visit, we found that the client was using the ISP standard router “non business router”, which is meant to be for a household usage only and not for business! .. if we are talking about 1-10 max users all of them within few meters distance from the router we would say yeah maybe it is going to work .. but 30-50 users with closed offices, and 20-40 meters away from the router, where the router is already in a closed room as well!! there no way you are going to be happy with this setup!

so we recommended access points solution, after taking the measurement, we recommended to install 4 access points, where they will be broadcasting strong wifi signal 2.4/5Ghz, this will make sure strong signal will be always around in their office..

of course there are many other solutions/options in the market, like wifi extender, or even using an Ethernet cables, it is all depends on the client preferences, if we are talking about stable network, then ethernet cables..

if you have a poor Wi-Fi connection, in a home basement, or office .. the first thing you need to duple check your router type, dbm signal strength.. test the internet speed directly from the router, because this is what your ISP will do to check your internet service..
